Many patients suffer from ocular symptoms such as dryness, redness, blurry vision that changes when they blink, a sandy, scratchy or itchy feeling, or contact lens discomfort, and they have been using over-the-counter eye drops with little success, they may have Dry Eye Syndrome. Some Dry Eye patients are sensitive to light and extreme heat, air-conditioning and overhead fans and everyday tasks such using a computer or reading often become painful.
